AMELIA SHEEHAN

HEAD COACH

Amelia Sheehan is a Bronxville native, who graduated from Sacred Heart Greenwich in 2019, where she was a multi-sport standout and named Inside Lacrosse's No. 4-ranked incoming freshman defender.

Amelia is currently a senior midfielder at UNC, where she has been a part of multiple ACC Championship and Final Four teams and won the 2022 Division 1 National Championship with UNC.

Amelia has coached for the Predators program since 2021, coaching our players at the team and individual levels.

CAITLYN WURZBURGER

ASSISTANT COACH

Caitlyn Wurzburger recently graduated from the University of North Carolina, where she earned multiple All-American honors, was named to the IWLCA All-South Region team, received All-ACC nominations, and was a member of the Tewaaraton Award Watch List. Widely regarded as one of the most decorated players in girl's lacrosse HS history, Caitlyn was ranked the No. 1 overall recruit in the Class of 2020 and became the youngest player ever invited to a U.S. National Team tryout. A three-time USA Lacrosse High School All-American, Caitlyn concluded her high school career as the nation's all-time leading scorer with 1,027 points, including 503 goals and 524 assists, during six standout seasons at the American Heritage School in Delray, Florida. She was named Inside Lacrosse's 2018 High School Player of the Year and was one of only three players in the Class of 2020 to represent the USA U19 women's national team, which won the 2019 World Cup, with Caitlyn setting a USA U19 record with 19 assists.

LIVI LAWTON

Livi Lawton, a native of Downingtown, PA, recently wrapped up an impressive career at UNC, where she earned All-ACC Academic Team honors twice. A standout even before college, Livi was ranked the nation’s No. 1 incoming defender and No. 10 overall incoming freshman for the Class of 2020 by Inside Lacrosse. She was also a two-time USA Lacrosse All-American in high school and delivered the overtime game-winning goal at the 2019 Under Armour All-America Game. Livi has coaching experience with the PA Express and NXT club teams and has been coaching with Predators since Fall 2024.

2026's CURRICULUM

Team Curriculum

-Fall and spring/summer practices are held at the Rye Country Day School (Turf Fields) and/or SUNY Purchase (Grass/Turf Fields).
-Winter practices are held indoors at Velocity Sports Performance in Hawthorne, NY.
-2-3 elite coaches per team, who have played lacrosse at the highest levels and are passionate motivators/communicators.
-65+ playing opportunities throughout the year, including 11 indoor lacrosse and strength/conditioning sessions in the winter.
-All HS players receive an IWLCA Recruits recruiting profile/subscription + recruiting consultation services + tournament film as part of tuition.

Fall 2024
-7 Sunday morning team practices at the Rye Country Day School or SUNY Purchase, starting September 8th
-6-7 Thursday night “Skill Focused” team practices at Velocity Sports Performance Hawthorne
-3-4 Nationally Recognized Recruiting Tournaments (likely Prime Time Recruiting Showcase - TBD, Fall Draw – Sat Nov 16, Lax for the Cure – Sun Nov 17, and IWLCA Presidents Cup – Fri Nov 22 – Sun Nov 24)
-GOALIE TRAINING: 7 total sessions on Monday nights at SUNY Purchase

Winter 2024-2025
-11 Indoor Team Practices / Lacrosse Sessions led by Predators’ Directors / Coaches on SUNDAYS from December – early March at Velocity Sports Performance Hawthorne
-11 Specialized Speed/Strength/Conditioning sessions on SUNDAYS led by Velocity Sports Performance 

Spring 2025
-Players compete with their respective HS teams
 
Summer 2025
-12 – 14 Team Practices, typically held on Tuesday/Thursday nights at the Rye Country Day School, starting in late May
3 Nationally Recognized Recruiting Tournaments (likely Live Love Lax, Summer Genesis, and Lax for the Cure)
