RYAN PENNER

RYAN PENNER
CO-DIRECTOR & RECRUITING DIRECTOR
Marist College/Yorktown High School

Ryan Penner is a Yorktown native who recently served as an assistant coach at Sacred Heart Greenwich for 3 years where they went 46-11 overall, were ranked in the Top 40 teams in the country, and he ultimately helped to develop athletes playing at Boston College, Penn, Cornell, Navy, Duke, UNC and Villanova. Ryan has been able to bring a different perspective to the girls’ game, which at the collegiate level is beginning to look a lot like boys’ lacrosse. His big push is to develop lacrosse IQ and create a team concept on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball, to compete with some of the best teams in the country. Ryan is a product of the Yorktown lacrosse program, where he was a two-year starter in goal, managing a .663 save percentage. As a starter, Ryan helped the Huskers to back-to-back Section Championships and was named All-Section both years. Despite only starting for two years, Ryan still ranks # 7 in saves in Yorktown history with 437 total saves. He was also a member of the 2003 State Championship team. Ryan then accepted a scholarship to play college lacrosse at Marist University where he was a mainstay in goal for the Red Foxes. He was a four-year starter and was a three-year captain while at Marist. During his senior year, Ryan ranked in the top 10 in the country in save percentage. As a coach, Ryan has been actively involved with numerous programs. Prior to the Predators, he has spent his summers coaching at the club level for the No Limit Ballers and the Yorktown Bombers. Ryan has also coached for Greeley, Rye, Bronxville, and Larchmont Youth Lacrosse.

ALLY MUELLER

ALLY MUELLER

Northwestern University/The Hackley School

Ally Mueller grew up in Pelham, NY and attended the Hackley School in Tarrytown from 2010-2014, where she was named a top-5 senior athlete in the Hudson Valley/Westchester areas by MSG Varsity and was a recipient of the Journal News’ Con Edison Scholar-Athlete award. Ally was a three-sport varsity athlete and captain and won 6 total state championships (3 in basketball, 2 in lacrosse, and 1 in cross country). After high school, Ally went on to play Division 1 lacrosse in the Big Ten Conference at Northwestern University, graduating in 2018 after helping the team make the NCAA Tournament 4x and advance to the NCAA Quarterfinals 2x. Ally was a four-year starting Defender and received All-Big Ten First Team Honors her senior year, as well as All-Big Ten Tournament Team Honors twice. She was a three-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and received a BA in Political Science and Legal Studies with a minor in business. Ally has coached club lacrosse for Predators since the girls’ program was founded and has also worked with the Rye, Bronxville, and Larchmont Youth Lacrosse programs. Ally still actively plays lacrosse for the New York Athletic Club (NYAC) team and currently works in Sponsorship Sales & Business Development at a Sports and Entertainment Marketing agency.

SAMMY MUELLER

SAMMY MUELLER
RECRUITING COORDINATOR
UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA & NORTHWESTERN / HACKLEY

Sammy Mueller grew up in Pelham, NY and attended the Hackley School in Tarrytown from 2012-2016, where she was a four-year varsity letter winner in Soccer, Basketball, and Lacrosse and 2x school MVP. On the lacrosse field, Sammy was a 2x US Lacrosse High School All-American, 3x First Team All-Ivy League member, and finished her high school career with a record-breaking 289 goals and 136 career assists to total 425 points. Sammy then went on to a storied career at the University of Virginia (‘20) and Northwestern (‘21), where she was a 5-year starting midfielder/attacker, who made the Final Four in her last season. Among other accolades, Sammy was a 4x IWLCA/IL Women All-American, 5x IWLCA All-Region, 3x Tewaaraton Award Top 25 Nominee, ACC Freshman of the Year, 4x All-ACC and 1x All Big-10, and a COSIDA Academic All-American. She was also a Big Ten Champion and 2020 Team Captain at Virginia.

HEATHER RANIOLO

HEATHER RANIOLO
CAMP DIRECTOR
Springfield College/Yorktown High School

Heather graduated from Yorktown High School in 2012, where she played Lacrosse and Volleyball. In Lacrosse, she was an All-Section First Team Defender and Draw Specialist, as well as a Captain during her Senior Year. Heather was also a member of the 2011 Section Championship Team and in 2012, was recognized as a member of the All Star First Team. After high school, Heather played at Springfield College, where she was a four-year starter and Captain during her Senior Year, playing both Defense and Midfield. She was a 3X All-Conference First Teamer and was named Athlete of the Year in the NEWMAC Conference in 2015, as well as First Team IWLCA All Region. Heather was also a part of two NEWMAC Championship Titles and led her team to the Sweet Sixteen in the NCAA tournament for the first time, while earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education. Heather later spent time as a graduate assistant at Sacred Heart University, where she coached and earned her Masters Degree. She has also coached both volleyball and lacrosse at Westlake High School for years, before recently being named the new Varsity Head Coach for the Yorktown girls’ lacrosse program in 2021. Heather has coached for the Predators since the girls’ program was founded and serves as the Camp Director.

CHARLIE CIPRIANO

CHARLIE CIPRIANO
Goalie Director
Fairfield University/Herricks HS

Charlie grew up in Long Island, and attended Herricks High School where he was a four year varsity starter. During his time at Herricks, Charlie was a 4x All-County Selection, and in 2008 was named a 2nd Team All American as well as the Nassau County Goalie of the Year. Over the course of 4 years, Charlie finished with 1,366 career saves which is also the All-Time National High School record. He served as his team’s Captain during his Junior and Senior seasons as well as earning Herricks’ Most Outstanding Athlete in 2008. After high school, Charlie went on to play at Fairfield University where he helped the team crack a top 20 national ranking and served as a captain during his senior season. As a three year starter, Charlie earned All-American (2012), ECAC Goalie of the Year (2011, 2012), and Scholar All-American (2012) honors. In the 2012 MLL Draft he was selected by the Denver Outlaws. After three seasons and one MLL championship with the Denver OutLaws he finished the 2015 season with his second Championship while playing for the New York Lizards. This past season he was the starting goalie for the Charlotte Hounds and led them to their second ever playoff appearance. He currently serves as a Guidance Counselor and lacrosse coach at Fordham Preparatory High School.
